Welcome to The Classy Dollar Notary Services LLC (“Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). By using our website, scheduling services, or requesting mobile notary, loan signing, or apostille facilitation services, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.
1. Services Provided
The Classy Dollar Notary Services LLC provides:
- Mobile Notary Services (General Notary Work)
- Certified Loan Signing Services
- Apostille Facilitation (North Carolina)
We are not attorneys and do not provide legal advice. We cannot select documents for you, advise you on legal rights, or explain the legal effect of documents.
2. Appointment Scheduling
Appointments may be scheduled online, by phone, or by text. Availability is based on scheduling and travel distance. Same-day and after-hours appointments may be available when scheduling allows.
3. Identification Requirements
All signers must present valid, government-issued photo identification at the appointment (example: driver’s license, passport, or state ID). If acceptable identification is not provided, the notarization cannot be completed.
4. Signer Presence Requirement
All notarizations require the signer to be physically present at the time of notarization. We cannot notarize signatures for individuals who are not present.
5. Fees and Payments
North Carolina law regulates notarial fees. Notarial fees are separate from other service fees.
Mobile Travel Fee:
A mobile travel fee may apply for travel to the client’s location. This fee is:
- Disclosed in advance
- Separate from notarial fees
- Collected upfront to confirm the appointment
- Non-refundable once travel has begun
Payment Methods:
We accept Zelle, Cash App, Venmo, and debit/credit (when available). Checks are not accepted.
6. Cancellations, Rescheduling & No-Shows
- If the client cancels before travel begins, the travel fee may be refunded (at our discretion).
- If the client cancels after travel has begun, the travel fee is non-refundable.
- If the notary arrives and the signer is unavailable, unwilling, unprepared, or lacks proper ID, the appointment may be considered a no-show, and travel/service fees may still apply.
7. Document Preparedness
Clients are responsible for ensuring documents are complete and ready for signing. We do not draft, alter, or prepare legal documents.
If witnesses are required, clients are responsible for providing witnesses unless otherwise agreed in advance.
8. Apostille Facilitation
Apostille facilitation is a document processing service that may include assisting clients with notarization requirements and delivering documents to the North Carolina Secretary of State for apostille processing (when requested).
- Apostille processing timelines are determined by the Secretary of State.
- We cannot guarantee processing times.
- Clients are responsible for confirming the receiving country’s requirements.
9. Refusal of Service
We reserve the right to refuse service if:
- Identification is not valid or acceptable
- The signer appears coerced, incapacitated, or unaware of the transaction
- The document appears fraudulent or improper
- The request violates North Carolina notary laws or ethical standards
10. Website Use & Intellectual Property
All content on this website (text, branding, graphics, logos, and service descriptions) is the property of The Classy Dollar Notary Services LLC and may not be copied or reused without permission.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Classy Dollar Notary Services LLC shall not be liable for any damages arising from:
- Delays outside our control
- Client errors in document selection or preparation
- Rejection of documents by third parties or government agencies
- Apostille processing timelines or outcomes
