Terms and Conditions
1. Scope of Services
The Classy Dollar Notary Services (“We”, “Us”, “Our”) provides general notary services, loan signings, courier/document delivery, I-9 verifications, and other notarial acts as allowed by North Carolina law.
2. Not Legal Advice
We are Not Attorneys and cannot provide legal advice or guidance on legal matters. Our services are limited to notarizing documents as presented and facilitating document processing. Clients seeking legal advice should consult a licensed attorney.
3. Accuracy of Information
Clients are responsible for providing accurate, complete, and truthful information in all documents. We are not responsible for errors, omissions, or false information provided by the client.
4. Identification Requirements
Valid government-issued photo identification is required for all notarizations. Acceptable forms include a state-issued driver’s license, state ID, passport, or military ID. Expired IDs or copies of identification will not be accepted.
5. Service Fees & Payment Terms
All fees are disclosed prior to service. Payment is due upon completion of services unless otherwise agreed in writing. Accepted payment methods include cash, Zelle, Clover, Venmo, and Cashapp.
6. Travel and Mobile Fees
Mobile service fees apply based on location and distance from Raleigh, NC. These fees are non-refundable once the notary has traveled to the client’s location, even if the notarization cannot be completed due to client errors or document issues.
7. Cancellation & Rescheduling
Appointments must be canceled or rescheduled at least 24 hours in advance. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may incur a $25 cancellation fee. No shows will be charged the full-service fee plus travel expenses.
8. Apostille Service Terms
While we may assist in facilitating the apostille process, we are not responsible for approval or rejection of documents by the Secretary of State or other governmental agencies. Once the apostille process has begun, fees are non-refundable.
9. Liability Limitation
Our liability is strictly limited to the amount paid for the services rendered. We are not liable for consequential damages, document rejections, or losses resulting from incomplete or incorrect documentation provided by the client.
10. Confidentiality
All documents and client information are handled with strict confidentiality. We do not share or disclose client information without express consent, except as required by law.
11. Right to Refuse Service
We reserve the right to refuse service to any individual or entity if the requested service is illegal, unethical, or if the notary determines that proper procedures cannot be followed.
12. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina.
